2005 - Above the tourist hotspot Antalya we discovered a huge altiplano area where we shifted toward the medieval ages. Follow the Lycean coastline, then climb towards Ermenek where you discover the remote singletracks. Enjoy a stunning 68 km descend towards Antalya at the end.

HIGHLIGHTS ALONG THE TRIP

Antalya - Belek (bike) - Manavgat (bike) - Alanya (bike) - Anamur (bike) - Ermenek (taxi) - Hadim (bike) - Seydisehir (bike) - Ibradi (bike) - Side (bike) - Antalya

BEST TIME

We enjoyed the cool temperatures of May. At altitude you will need a fair sleeping bag for comfortable nights. But there always is enough wood to build a campfire.

CAMPING

Pretty difficult to find open air camping place along the coastline. Once at altitude you just have to pick the spot that suits you best.

SUPPLIES

Same story here. Spend your money in the cities along the coastline. But once on the altiplano you're on your own for 3 days. Bring enough water, you'll get thirsty. We tried melted snow as drinking water without any problem.
