Close encounters with authentic Berber people and living a comfortless life … Go south from Marrakech and climb former ski station Imlil, descend slowly towards Taroudant after which you enjoy a mountain fringed track to the berber capital of Morocco.

BEST TIME
The loop is best ridden in spring or fall due to hot summer temperatures. Even though you stay at +1000 m altitude, sun is burning brightly. Be aware of colder nights.

CAMPING
There are plenty of camping opportunities throughout the ride. Stay outside the communities to have a peaceful night. Avoid barking dogs and dwelling animals.
SUPPLIES
There are natural water sources and food opportunities along the way. Always carry 3 liter water with you to avoid problems when taking the wrong track. Do not hesitate to ask people for help, they'll be happy to assist you.
