KITESURFING DOWNWINDER I BELGIAN COASTLINE

Since 2009 - Belgium only has a small strip of coastline but with its elaborated public transport system, one can easily go for a 30 km long wave downwinder ride when the south-westerlies are blowing cheerfully.
Discover the very fine wave spot of Wenduine, right near the bight of Blankenberge. You will be amazed by the powerfull waves.

Western Europe is at its best in spring or fall when moderate temperatures and
depressions come together. Expect gusty SW 30+ knts when the "kanaalrat" arrives from the Atlantic

No big wave but decent waves can be expected near Wenduine in the bight towards Blankenberge. Have a go and make a downwinder to catch every wave on our 63 km Belgian coastline.
