BEST TIME
Cobblestones are slippery when wet. But this is part of the Flemish cycling tradition. So you better ride this trip in spring (feb - may) of autumn (sep - nov) period.
CAMPING
There are plenty of camping opportunities throughout the ride. We slept with bivvy bags in the open air. Little shelter to be found unless you get close to a small forest.
SUPPLIES
There are 4 main cities to shop along the way: Oudenaarde - Ronse - Nederbrakel and Geraardsbergen. Plenty of gourmand bakeries and traditional cyclist café's to be found.
